Improvement of the drinking water system in the urban area of Las Vueltas, Chalatenango

Construction of the adduction system from the water source located in Los Naranjos canton, and construction of the distribution system from the collection tank to the household connections of 216 beneficiary families.
Part of the efforts were focused on promoting the participation of women in water management and conservation of sources through reforestation, raising organizational capacity. 
Training sessions were held on the proper use of water, gender equity issues, and system maintenance. The Gender Equality Water Committee was organized and formed, which is responsible for maintaining the created system.
